At a briefing this week, the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability introduced the proposal and set the stage for public information sessions about it in January. The proposed Energy Performance Reporting Policy would require commercial buildings to track energy performance using a free online tool called the Energy Star Portfolio Manager.
